Mané Pacheco (Portalegre, 1978), lives and works in Lisbon. She studied and practiced in the area of ​​Environment and Nature Conservation before joining FBAUL, where she finished the Multimedia Art course with the Distinction of Merit from the University of Lisbon and the 2010 BPI/FBAUL Prize. of interdisciplinary work (drawing, sculpture, installation, video, photography, performance) that revolves around the materiality and ecology of relationships. Mané participated in the residencies Walk and Talk Azores 2021 and Creadores de Iberoamenrica en México 2010 (FONCA – CONACULTA). The individual exhibitions 'Pelágica' (2021), Carlos Machado Museum; ‘A naturally fake snake’ (2021), Galeria Balcony; ‘For all work’ (2018), Galeria o Armário; and the collective ‘ProjectoMAP 2010–2020’ (2020) Museu Colecção Berardo, Loop’s Finalists (2018) Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea do Chiado; ‘A sonic youth’ (2019) Municipal Gallery of Almada; ‘The Winter Sun on Horseback Freezes My Shadow’ (2020) Drawing Room Lisbon; ‘War as a way of seeing’ (2018) Museum of Contemporary Art of Elvas; ‘Festival Landart Cascais’ (2010); ‘Creadores de Iberoamerica en Mexico’ (2010) at Museo Diego Rivera-Anahuacalli and Centro Cultural de España en México. It is represented in several collections, including the António Cachola Collection, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon City Council, William Allen Word and Image, Zé dos Bois Gallery and the Sintra Museum of Arts.
