Marinho de Pina
Storyteller, from the ground of Sonaco. An inveterate talker, he likes to tell stories in any format, be it oral, anal, written, visual, drawing, photography, architecture, performance art or music. He has the habit of being inflexibly certain that he likes doubts more than inflexible certainties. His father wanted him to be a football player, but what he wanted was to be a saint, a dream that died when he discovered that sin was tastier. He was a trowel and a paver, he has also written a book of short stories and participated in some others. It organizes creative writing workshops and Slam Poetry, street poetry, street music and street cinema events in Lisbon, Sintra, Bissau and Sonaco. He thinks he's funny just because his two-year-old niece loves his antics. Since 2006, he has been wasting his time producing texts to feed the well-known blog: montedepalavras.blogspot.com, with reflections, opinions, theories, poetry, reviews of movies, books, songs, in short, with anything that can serve as a reason to don't keep silent.
