is both a body and an object, a display device that has been making its career in Lisbon’s iconic street Calçada da Estrela. Curated by Benedita Pestana, throughout the last eight years this piece of furniture has been the stage for more than forty interventions by artists of all predilections. is done and undone at the hands of the artists who accept the challenge of creating a work for it to display. In 2022 and 2023, this project will leave its usual premises in Lisbon and will travel around Portugal on a journey that starts here in Coimbra, where it will be presenting an installation by the Portuguese writer, artist, and activist Gisela Casimiro.

Sempre com a curadoria de Benedita Pestana, nos últimos oito anos este móvel foi palco de mais de 40 intervenções por parte de artistas de todas as predileções. Convocando sem pudor a La Boîte-en-valise, de Marcel Duchamp, ou a Galerie Légitime, de Robert Filliou, 

 compõe-se e decompõe-se nas mãos dos artistas que aceitam o desafio de inventar um trabalho para esta montra. Em 2022 e 2023, o projeto aventura-se fora de portas e assume inteiramente a sua natureza móvel num périplo que tem início em Coimbra, no átrio do Colégio das Artes, onde é apresentado com uma instalação da escritora, artista e ativista Gisela Casimiro.
