The Monastery of Santa Clara-aNova is one of Anozero’s central spaces. Its history is deeply linked to the river, to mysticism, to the monastic life of women, and to the military. During the months of the Biennial, the ghosts of the past and the beings that reside there share their space with works of art, and create minority actions, practices or narratives.
